AIR OPERATED COLLET CLOSER
For high production needs the Levin Air-operated collet closer is desirable. The unit may be quickly mounted to any 3C or D type headstock.
Gripping tension is easily adjusted to the desired level. The location of the air cylinder is on top of the headstock and out of the way in order to facilitate the use of bar stock.

LEVER COLLET CLOSERS
The lever-operated collet closer is a particularly desirable device for production work when handling time must be kept to a minimum. The unit may quickly be applied to any Levin lathe with a totally enclosed headstock. All working parts are hardened and ground. Gripping force is easily adjusted to the desired level and the location of the lever is such as to require only a slight horizontal movement to open or close the collet. A handwheel is provided to expedite manual rotation of the spindle for inspection and set-up of work.
